LTO-3 backup tape represents an economical and efficient storage media that features unique architecture and robust design to meet the challenges of modern data intensive applications. These Super Finavinx particles are very useful in stabilizing the output frequency and ensure high performance and superior aging stability. The upper layer of the TDK LTO-3 cartridge's tape reel is composed of magnetic layer while its lower layer comprises of a non-magnetic layer. TDK has employed an advanced mechanism in tape coating process of ultrium-3 tapes. This new mechanism controls the coating thickness of the LTO-3 tape's reel at nanometer order. In this new advanced coating system, the boundary between the lower & upper layer of TDK LTO-3 tape reel is kept extremely sharp which ensures tight uniformity of the magnetic layer.
