Is there a way I can get help on getting medical,food stamps, cash assistance?
I live with my father his spouse, my fiance, and my 1 year old daughter and got another one on the way me and my dad were working but he hurt his back so he didn't got a job currently an I lost mine we were all looking for a job but cant find anything because we live in the kent area and cant find anything thanks to the college I really need to get medical, and help and didn't have barely money for bills and didnt want my daughter to live on the streets. I signed up for low-income housing but still on the waiting list what should I do well-fare isn't trying to give me a break.
go down to your local health department and apply for medicaid. if you qualified for section 8 vouchers, you will also qualify for medicaid for you, your unborn baby, and your daughter. Then go down to you DSS office and apply for food stamps and possibly daycare vouchers so you can get a part time job somewhere and not have to pay for day care. I would also encourage your father to get on dissability if he is actually hurt. and at your 6 week check up after you have the baby, get an IUD implanted. you will have birth controll for 5 years for free because medicaid will pay for it, and you won't worry abut getting pregnant again.
